Resize and crop images
Enter a width and height in pixels, scale by percentage or crop a region. By default each image is scaled proportionally to fit inside the frame you enter; unlock the aspect ratio for exact dimensions. The preview shows what the export will contain.

Width and height are a maximum frame. Each image is scaled proportionally to fit inside it — nothing is cropped or stretched.
Crop preview
The crop applies to every selected image. Drag the box or use the arrow keys; the percentage fields are an alternative.
Making an image larger is upscaling; it does not add detail.
Processing happens locally in this browser. Images are not uploaded. Re-encoding can change quality and removes metadata such as EXIF/GPS; a file that is returned unchanged keeps its original metadata.

How it works
- Add one or more images. The fields start with the dimensions of the first image.
- Enter width and height, switch to a percentage, or enable cropping and choose a region. The aspect ratio stays locked until you unlock it.
- Press “Process images”. Upscaling is allowed but labelled — it does not add detail that the source does not have.
Questions about size and cropping
What is the difference between resizing and cropping?
Resizing scales the whole image to new dimensions. Cropping selects a region first; that region is then scaled to the output size. Crop is optional and applies to every selected image with the same relative area.
Does upscaling improve quality?
No. A larger image contains no more detail than the source. The result is marked as upscaled so you can decide whether it is worth using.
How does the crop selection work?
Enable cropping and drag the box, or focus it and use the arrow keys (Shift+arrow resizes). The percentage fields are an accessible alternative. Aspect ratio presets keep 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9 while you resize.
Which dimensions are allowed?
Whole pixels from 1 to 12,000 per side, and at most 24 megapixels in total. Empty, negative or non-numeric values are rejected instead of being guessed.
Is the transparency preserved?
PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPEG has none, and the source JPG stays opaque. The tool never adds a background to PNG or WebP in this mode.
